About The Painting

 Every time I paint a sunflower, I am inspired by the colors. In this piece, I wanted to capture the warm reflections of light coming down in the morning. I love the contrast between the yellows, orange and gold and the rich green of the leaves. The thick, textured background strokes capture the delicate and ever-changing sky.
